Christopher Fabbro

Playwright and actor Christopher Fabbro stars as John Wilkes Booth. The Most Famous Man in America is his first play. He has performed in the New York City area for several years, and is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association. He starred in a successful Off-Broadway revival of The Widow’s Blind Date, with directorial help from playwright Israel Horovitz and fight direction from world-renown stunt choreographer B.H. Barry. Christopher also toured the country in The Three Musketeers and appeared twice regionally as Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, for which he received much praise.

Press from Jesus Christ Superstar

“Christopher Fabbro makes a sympathetic Jesus, displaying tremendous emotion that is topped in the evening's final moments... He is thrilling in the role. He comes forth with that solemn, tone-setting gaze that just naturally separates Jesus from the very folks he came to be with.”

Against the advice of his betters, he has been obsessively researching and writing The Most Famous Man in America for over two years. Christopher is a graduate of the Jim Bonney Acting Studio, a Meisner-based program in New York City, and has studied singing for almost 10 years.

Christopher was born in Berlin, Germany, and spent half of his grade-school years in Germany and the other half in Williamsburg, Virginia. With Colonial Williamsburg as his backyard, Christopher developed an early interest in American history, especially in the Civil War. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and a former First Lieutenant in the US Army Reserve. He lives in New York City.
